The Sonic Colossus Jazz Orchestra
was formed in 2005, with the original name of The Brad
Steinwehe Jazz Orchestra. As the Brad Steinwehe Jazz
Orchestra, the group performed concerts and clinics throughout
Southern California and released two recordings, Nutville in
2007 and Wgasa Jam in 2013. The group enjoyed a following of
jazz aficionados in North America and Europe as both albums
were well received by fans and critics alike. In 2020, the
group released it’s third recording, On
A Clear Day under a new name, The Sonic Colossus
Jazz Orchestra. The following video is the band
